SGE 1st Graders Make Reading “Pop”
First-grade students at Spring Grove Elementary (SGE) are celebrating a major milestone after achieving a shared reading goal set at the start of the school year. Their progress was tracked by “filling” a large bubble gum machine, with each accomplishment adding to the collective goal. Way to go, Rocket readers!
FFA Students Lead Ag Literacy Activities
Spring Grove Area High School FFA students spent time in all three elementary schools to help celebrate Agricultural Literacy Week. They visited K-2 classrooms to read farm-themed books, shared fun facts about animals and crops, and got creative with a coloring activity.

Maylee Campbell was named Artist of the Week and Thor Ream, a fourth grader at NSE, was also recognized as a top national finalist.

The NAMM Foundation has named Spring Grove Area School District one of the Best Communities for Music Education for the thirteenth consecutive year. The designation is a testament to the District's outstanding commitment to music education, which is made possible by our dedicated music teachers, students, supportive staff, Music Boosters, and our Rocket community.

Spring Grove Area High School received the 2024-2025 U.S. News Best High School Award. SGAHS proudly ranks in the top 27% in the state and the top 28% in the nation.
